I've been wanting to do Project 365 for a couple of years now and decided this was the year. Wish me luck! It should be interesting keeping up because of our upcoming move to Alaska, but I'm going to make it work. I just might have a whole lot of uploading to do after we've gotten settled in. No biggie, right? It shouldn't be too hard taking a photo a day on the road (if we drive)... I'll just have to actually remember to keep my camera out so the packers don't box it up! In all reality, this will be the hard part. I have a horrible memory!

Ben and I started a new tradition for New Year's day this year... In years past he has made a "to die for" whiskey cake for Christmas. Since he no longer drinks (1 year today!) he didn't make his cake this year for obvious reasons. Instead, he picked out another cake to try, but we weren't able to make it for Christmas. There were just too many sweets and desserts already! So, after some thought, we decided that from this year on, we'll make a cake every New Year's day, instead. He did most of the making. I assisted. That's how we work. I'm no baker! This year he made a Banana Caramel cake. (I got some pictures and will try to add those tomorrow... I'm still working on getting my Christmas pics uploaded! lol) I cannot wait to try it with a big ole' glass of cold milk. Yummy!
