It's going to be a very long, cold weekend...

It's snowing. Our heat went out earlier today. Maintenance came to the house to take a look at it, but can't fix it until late Monday evening. They brought us two itty bitty, tiny space heaters to keep us warm until then. (Seriously. They are each about a foot tall. Two!... for the whole house!)

I hate space heaters. They scare me. Probably because of the numerous houses I've seen burn to the ground because of them. I suppose I should be thankful for those two little heaters, though, so I'll try really hard to be. However, I know I won't be able to sleep as long as they are here and running. Should be interesting driving Ben to the airport Monday morning (and then back home) after two nights of no sleep. I suggested sleeping in shifts, but he laughed at me.

Yes, I'm probably being overly paranoid. Yes, I'm for sure being whiny today. Sue me.

On the bright side... We still have electricity. We have a coffee pot that works. We have Netflix. I'm bundled up in my pink and red Christmas pj's with red insulated undies layered underneath. I've got blankets and I've got a snuggie. I've got chocolate and snack foods. Time for a slumber party. Wish you were here!
