November Roundup (Very late!)

Better late than never, eh?

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
This month I started reading the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich that my mother loaned me while we were visiting for Thanksgiving. To date, I've read One for the Money and Two for the Dough. I'm currently reading Three to Get Deadly. I'm hooked!

What movies and/or tv shows did I watch this month?
I'm sure I did watch a couple of movies this month, but can't remember which, if so.

What special days did I celebrate and how?
Thanksgiving was celebrated back home at my parent's house. All of my immediate family was there. My parents, my daughter, my brother, sister-in-law, and niece. I've not seen my brother & sil in nearly four years or my niece for nearly 7, so it was so nice spending this quality time with them!

What gifts did I give and/or receive?
My sil brought a set of three, Christmas WW (Wood Wick) candles to Ben and I and gave them to us at my parent's house while we were there visiting. I love them and they smell so good! My husband and I bought a new television and tv stand for ourselves. To & For each other!

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
None (Thank goodness & Knock on wood!)

What fun things did I do with my friends and/or family?
Thanksgiving was spent with my family. We had several get togethers with friends living here on post (as always and always fun!). I got to meet some new friends/designers online when Amy and I joined in (and participated in) a Christmas Collaboration Freebie Kit called Whimsical Wonderland. This was a bunch of fun and I'm looking forward to the next!

What new foods, recipes or restaurants did I try this month?
None.

What special or unusual purchases did I make?
None.

What were this month's disappointments?
None.

What were my accomplishments this month?
I participated in my first Collaboration kit. (See above)

Anything else noteworthy to record?
We decorated for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving this year. I'm actually glad we did because we've gotten to enjoy it longer and there wasn't a mad dash to get it up this year. I think we'll be doing this from now on.
