My soon-not-to-be neighbors appear to be clearing housing this morning. Good. Good riddance! Normally, I'm not so hateful, but these particular neighbors have been a huge thorn in my side (and my family's) since we moved here four months ago. Enough said about that. I'm just glad they'll soon be permanently gone.
Most nights, after dinner, Ash and I have 'TV night'. Last night we watched the season premieres of Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy. We also watched the premiere of Big Shots, which is a guy version of Desperate Housewives. I don't think it'll ever compare to Desperate Housewives, but it seems promising enough to be entertaining. (Of course, this is my own opinion. I am, after all, biased as Desperate Housewives is my all time favorite!)
While we were watching tv, we had our new fall candles lit. They made the house smell so good! Ben and I, both, are candle fanatics and buy them often. We like to buy seasonal scents as well as everyday scents. Our most recent purchases were two Yankee candles (one Frosted Pumpkin, one Pumpkin Pie) and a Biscotti Wood Wick candle. Pumpkin Pie is my favorite of the two Yankee Candles. I've had to put the Frosted Pumpkin upstairs, away from the Pumpkin Pie, because oddly enough, these two scents clash when they are too close to one another.

Recently, while Ben and I were home visiting, my mother and a friend introduced us to the Wood Wick candles. One the way home, we stopped to eat at a Cracker Barrel, and while there, just had to buy a Wood Wick candle for ourselves. I do believe these have become our favorite candles! Not only do they smell yummy, but when the wood wick burns it faintly sounds like a crackling fireplace. We've definitely decided we have to have more of these as soon as we can find them locally! A neighbor told us there is a Cracker Barrel close to us, so it shouldn't be too hard to add to our collection if I can't find them elsewhere.
Enough rambling for one morning...
Time to get busy for the day!
